light table

Last friday I bought a light table... It was kinda expensive (80eur) but it's making my life wayyyy easier man. I'm very dirty and messy on my work so sometimes I end with a paper full of scketches. This is very useful to take profit of them !

Hello dear readers,

Yesterday I finally finished my last exam. Yeah. It felt so good moma. I was like: I want to eat a kebab and sleep and watch anime. Well, I felt like painting... not so much just... Few crap.

The other day I went to a really nice place with a friend. Is a kind of art asociation (in a very traditional way) You pay an amount per month and then they let you use their instalation, wich are very lovely, like an atelier. Also some days they have model sessions. So good! You also can expose your work... To tell the truth is only old people there, but I'm ok with that. I want to go now!!

Hard times

Hello dear readers,
Sorry for not updating for a while. I've had hard times with school works and stuff. About mural painting, I did it, but in the end teacher said is not enought to put me an A. I made a fanzine with recopilation of drawing and since I'm bad with publication making, teacher said it was not enough as well. I have another opportunity this friday, and if its not ok I will have to go to september. I was kinda sad, cause I tried hard. But it's ok since she said the problem is not what, is 'how'. So possibly a nice week of deep indesign tutorial will be enought to pass the subject in september. I'm sad and a bit ashamed that I failed. But complaining is pointless, so I will continue doing my best because there are a lot of people around me who supports me. Thank you.

Hi! tatatachan! This is how it is right now, It's not finished ( Boots are not painted and some details and outlines are not done yet...) but looks pretty much complete. It was a hard time because I was working on a coffe shop and I was tired.. but now I finished working (it was just for easter) from now to june I should work hard as hell if I want to approve everything...

I'll do my best!

So, As I expected I did't finish it haha, but I finish almost all the background and I added some outlines and details, so now I just have to finish the two characters and some lil details on the background. It seems like nothing but since this is so big it takes a lot of time to paint y-y

Wood Wood Wood sunny day but working on wood

Hi Hi! Thanks for those who comment my 'my mouth feels like hell post' I'm better now (kinda drugged cause I take a lot of pills haha) So, since yesterday I been working (finally!) on the wood panels. I have to do 2 different things. A visual narration (wich I don't even started...) and a little instalation (photo stuff)

As you can see the style is kinda different of my drawing, more like child stuff, and painted with pastel tones etc. I wanted to simulate this panels you can find in for example, commercial center on xmas. They show you a character (in xmas it tends to be Santa) and you put behind and then you pretend to be this character.
So I used a lot of cliche from popular culture (specially fairy tales in this one) of what romantic love should be, including roles (strong prince, unhappy princess ) and a lot of simbols (snake in other panel, bird, roses, apple etc) So I want people to put behind and take photos of them. As you can figure this is kinda huge (taller than me) so it takes a time to paint... I want to base my work on the sentence of jenny holzer 'Romanticism was created to manipulate woman' and well some personal experience as well (I will upload the pdf with memory in june) So... I hope you like it..

What I did this weekend. Walking with my dog in the beach and painted this while smoking and drinking orange juice and listening to new Tokyo Jihen album and chiptunes. I have a lot of things to do from school. But, in the end what I did? Cause my brain feels so wild. So free. It fucks school away and just care to paint and walk with dogs.
